Ugh! I hated EBC...they didnt work well for me. They stopped on a dime, but they wore out too fast!
I am runnin Brembo rotors and Akibono pads. No complaints at all!

KVR Performance Carbon Fiber Pads and Slotted Rotors. Pads Require no heat up and Have lots of bite. Only had them on for about a month so can't speak on life of the pad.

Hawk, but I went cheap and currently have Duralast Golds due to an emergency. They work better than OEM and last, but they give off a terrible burning smell for like a month, even with light breaking. Don't go cheap unless you REALLY need to change your pads and can't wait for an order or money is tight.

i run axxis ultimate kevlar/ceramic pads on all our cars.
they too require next to no heat up. and can take a beating in high speed canyon runs.
