Well, over the weekend there was a car show on here, one of the biggest on the calender, Auto Salon.
There are 3 Auto Salons a year in NZ, One in Auckland, One in Wellington and this year the final was in Christchurch.

Here's some pics I got, not the best quality, but hey at least I got some.

Different tastes to what you have in the states.
Thoes wheels are one of the more popular styles (not in my list of favorites). They are Konig unknown's they cost around the 3k mark just for the rims.

But I have to agree, there weren't many nice cars at the show this year... I was disappointed.

Although a chick riding an RB is hot... It can't beat a chick I saw driving a Kawasaki Ninja z10R in a two piece motorcycle suit.. Oh yeaaahhhh

Other than the dark blue FTO and blue Skyline...all i see is some expensive rice. :|

I like the paint on the 6g Galant..but the interior is way too tacky for me.

The 7g VR4......there are more bad things than good things I have to say. My biggest question is...why externally mount the FMIC like that? :| There is a greet Silvia/240sx locally with that set up and I find it overkill tacky.

Again, different tastes, Here in NZ, there are comply different ideas for modding and what looks good. Compared to what you guys in the states think looks good. A lot of you are all JDM this and that, where as we already have JDM, so we want to be different.

I really don't know whats with the trend, it's really big here, to have a huge FMIC either moulded into or sitting just infront of the bumper. They seem to think it's must get more cold air, therefore be better.


I have an Evo 8 cooler tucked away nicely behind my factory bumper, it's not exactly the smallest thing in the world, but it's no that huge.
