    Ordered my Tein SS-Ps!

So i ordered the ones for the 00-05 Eclipse. So is it a direct bolt on installation? Any mods required since its for the Eclipse?

nice choice! my shop put them on for me but i believe they are straight bolt on replacements of both the spring and shock assembly, making them easier to install than just springs since you don't need to reuse the OE dampers or the upper mounts. just remember to click back the dampers to the recomended settings as they are shipped at full stiffness from factory.

Thanks Reelax! Yeah, they should be here in 2-3 weeks, depending if Tein has them in stock. I paid $1320 shipped to Hawaii. It was expensive, but i know it will be well worth it :D

thayre a direct bolt on. you're going to have trouble with the stabilizer links though. good luck with the install.

I'd rather have the knowledge and ability to do it than the money to buy it already done.

You should have considered the D2 coilovers or Megan coilovers, could have saved some money and gotten a more adjustable coilover.

Yeah, i knew that the Megan's were available too. But everyone i know has Tein's and nobody has ever had a complaint about them. Anyways, i know will be happy either way :D

I do but thats because i have it set up all the way up but that would go with all coilovers. no room for the spring to travel. :(

    Good choice though. :D

Any major differences between the SSP and Coilover basic such this one.

    http://www.ptuning.com/html/Item-Des...elDesc=Eclipse

it's only $855 shipped compare to SSP $1350.

the BASIC is not adjustable for dampenning and does not have the upper pillow mounts/front camber plates.
