    1992 Galant Pics.

    I picked it up a few months ago. These pics were taken 2 days after getting it. I am in the process of a few upgrades and body work to get it up to snuff again. That and the car isn't fast enough either.











    You think the big silver thing on my exhaust is what's slowing me down? Or is it the big silver thing covering my radiator.

    I am ready to take it all off and go to PepBoys for some REAL mods!!!

    That's an external wastegate..... why would that slow you down ?

    Actually I was talking about the other shiny thing hanging off of the manifold, and I think Kasper was the only one that caught my attempt at humour. :-)

    Hah I got it. You might as well take out that huge thing under the exhaust manifold too. Its causing a huge restriction in your exhaust flow! Definite power booster!

    that def looks modded already... Im also curious about what is currently done to the car. And I cant see that car not being fast enough. If you want something humbling for comparison drive my 93 non-vr-4 6th gen galant then talk to me, lol, that bitch is .not fast enough (I still love her to death tho)

    Nice GVR4 man! You definitely got the sleeper mode going on. The motor setup is nice too. Are you running dsm link, EPROM'ed ecu, AEM, Megasquirt, etc etc?

    I'm running a VPC/GCC combo on it right now. In the long run, a DSMLink is the works. The combo that I currently have doesn't have the "resolution" I am looking for. That and my idle sucks because of the fuel pump and the injectors (Supra TT and PTE 680s).

    I am waiting for one of the local GVR4 guys to get his JDM rear bumper, since some genius destroyed my bumper last week.

    Well hit me up here in oregon next ;) pass her my way, i wanna take her for a spin around the block. grants pass has never seen the power of a VR4 Galant. I have been looking for one for years. I had a GSX non turbo, with a 5 peed, had a bad MAF . But it got on it once in a while man, that car was pissed, i wanted to turbo it, but replaced the maf twice, and shot it out, sold it for 1750
