    I would honestly like to know this too. Either mine isn't properly connected anymore (pulled dash apart) or I just never noticed it's affect on the A/C.

    It pulls fresh air into the cabin through those 2 vents.

    ya if its on the blue it's will pull air from outside regardless of recirculation or not. grey closes it so only whatever option you have will work

    idk... but i had to pull my vents out, and i couldnt disconnect it... so i just broke it off..... its hanging out in my dash somewhere...

    thats not smart

    i have taken the dash off before. there is no need to break it. you actually do need it at times
