Yes you can use 2g FWD coilovers. Dont think they specifically make a coilover for the 7g.

Unless you go with sleeve slip on like Ground Control or Skunk2, but I assume you want a real coilover :)

    D2
    Ksport
    Tein
    Jic
    Hotbits

All make a true coilover for the 2g FWD.

Megans are the same p/n as the Eclipse, D2 are different. Didnt know they made them for the 7g. I bet its exactly the same as the 2g set. I think DOHCstunr ordered his D2 coilovers for a 2g GST.

I actually ordered mine for a gsx. i wanted to have the incresed spring rates. to help carry the load.

how coudl the part number for 93-2002 be the same?

jsut another vendor that doesn't understand their product of the application.... all they are doing here is clerking sales.

i found much better prices than that for my setup.

I didn't know seth was shopping for a new suspension setup. 8) Right now I am contiplating...I am shopping around for what I am going to replace the current set up with. I am leaning towards D2's right now...but its not the right time for me to make that move since the holidays are coming up and there are some things I want to do to the house.

    2g to 7g
    3g to 8g

NOT 7G to 8G or vise versa

I'm from the Philippines. do we have the same suspension? coz here 8g spring and shocks combo would fit 7g.

IIRC World-spec 8G's dont have the same suspension as the USDM 8G's.

All world spec 8G Galants have multi link all round just like the 7G.

The fronts are the same if not very similar between 7G and 8G world spec, however the spring rates may be heavier for the 8G world spec

The rears on the 8G world spec have a smaller spring perch at the bottom as the spring diameter tapers smaller on the 8G world spec, but you can swap the whole 8G world spec rear strut into a 7G.

Basically if you find coilovers for a 8G world spec, they would work in the 7G.

i would kill my parents to have this verified. since everything in america sucks, i'm sure the aftermarket suspension options for the 8G world spec is 10x what we have for the 7G usdm. have you seen some of the pics from galant meets in other countries? our numbers are pennies compared to what some of these clubs have going on....
