How long does one take?
Depends on how detailed I do them. Usually about 3-4 hrs. The cat I did in about an hour.Originally Posted by 9G

so how does it start? you import a pic then the program turns it to a cartoon then you edit?

yoooo get at me when u wanna do one of those for ya boooyyy
I open the pic in illustrator and then I dim layer about 50%, then I make a new layer and use the pen tool to trace the outlines. Illustrator CS3 has a feature called Live Trace that can trace the photo for you, but I trace and color everything myself
