Did the throttle body mod, sort of concerned now...

I notice my car revs higher now. When i throw the car in park, it revs at 2000 rpms. Is this bad or normal after doing this mod? Will my gas milage go down slightly? I do notice the more quicker response off the line, im just concerned about if it is safe in the long run.

No, you don't want it idling at 2k........This is not really a mod, it is just to get rid of all the extra slack from the cable.....You should idle no more than 800-900 rpm.....And thats pretty high already......My car idles at 650-700.......No studder..........

You should adjust it when the car is on, so you can hear the rpm.....Make sure you wear something tight and watch for loose clothing.....
