Well, it's all back together. Just charging the battery and throwing on a new flash and E-Manage tune. Gotta wait for traffic to die down to nothing and I'm going out to break in the new engine.
Gotcha, thats more like it. I need to learn to read first.

Kick ass, I guess that explains your recent absence from the site.

Thanks a bunch guys... it's alive! :D
I won't even bother to tell you about the "break in." I figured waiting until this late at night would keep the idiots away so I could safely break the car in in the snow. Nope. I just puttered along at 20 mph until I made it back home :P Fools.
Well it didnt come apart, thats at least a good sign.

Just checked the front bank for compression. All are at 165 +/- 3 PSI. Yay for pre-lapped rings.
yay, how many miles are on it thus far.
Thats good compression for whats it 8.8:1 comp.

Like 5 miles of 25 mph Mormon-dodging. I'm quite satisfied - this compression is about 10 PSI higher than the original piston swap job I did this time last year. Could be the overbore, but this engine will still be stronger in the long run. Now I just have to get my wideband working :?
You have fun with that.

well its about time :D
Nice to see you got a good part of the ordeal done...it's still rice imo.
