Well, it's all back together. Just charging the battery and throwing on a new flash and E-Manage tune. Gotta wait for traffic to die down to nothing and I'm going out to break in the new engine.

Kick ass, I guess that explains your recent absence from the site.

    Thanks a bunch guys... it's alive! :D

I won't even bother to tell you about the "break in." I figured waiting until this late at night would keep the idiots away so I could safely break the car in in the snow. Nope. I just puttered along at 20 mph until I made it back home :P Fools.

Just checked the front bank for compression. All are at 165 +/- 3 PSI. Yay for pre-lapped rings.

Like 5 miles of 25 mph Mormon-dodging. I'm quite satisfied - this compression is about 10 PSI higher than the original piston swap job I did this time last year. Could be the overbore, but this engine will still be stronger in the long run. Now I just have to get my wideband working :?

    thats really irrelevant right now.

tim man congrats and glad to hear that the premadonna is doing her job now cant wait to see the vids on these slow ass computers here. you should email me a disc or thumb drive with everything on it that way i can just watch it on my laptop. i wish i had a damn clock that i could push the hands on, that way we could both play with our built motors. im soooo glad that she is good now and those are very impressive compression numbers. time to strap her down and see what she will belt out this time, just take it to Karl though, he will love to see this thing put down as much as some of the mustangs that come out of his shop.
