    Long Time Overdue

    Well after years of thinking and thinking about it I decided to go ahead and get this going.

    So far i have aquired the following things

    14B turbo
    2G Ported Exhaust Manifold
    4G63T O2 Sensor Housing
    Turbo oil Supply Line (Stainless braided preferred)
    Turbo oil return Line from a stock 2G setup
    Turbo water lines (feed & return) + rubber coolant hose to connect to engine.
    Higher flow Fuel Pump (Walbro 190lph is plenty)
    Bigger Injectors (Stock 4G63T 450cc Injectors
    Blow off valve (BOV) - 1G is fine
    Boost Gauge
    EGT Gauge
    GM MAF

    I know I'm missing a few things (soon to come) But he also has a 95 ecu he wants to sell me from a 2G AWD, is that a wise deal or should I pass?
    the guy I'm getting all my parts from is so fucking amazing:)
    He has not 1 or 2 but about nine 2G trannies in his house, 1 2g eclipse, 1 plymouth lazer putting down about 4 hundred horses. Yo the guy is crazy, while i was there the UPS guy just came with a big ass Mitsu box in his hand, the guy opens the box and to my amazement pulls out a turbo the size of a 13 inch monitor. I was like Goddamn! What the hell are you gonna do with that and he tells me that its going in the eclipse he's building. You guys are gonna be surprised when I'm finally done with this.

    Hah. Dont buy the ECU unless you are doing a DOHC swap or 4g63t swap.

    Is the ECU an EPROM, if so how much is he selling the ECU for?

    Well where i work at we sell remanufactured ECU's also, is there a possiblity that if i can get one of those replacement ecu's that it might have the socket for the eprom chip?

    Im sure I got ecu's for the 2G GST but they are pricey and i dont wanna be pulling mad ecu's just to find the right one.

    Anyone got that ecu # for me yet. I need to know by Monday so i wont spend all day at work fucking with this.

    Needs to be a ecu with the eprom, that way i can get a remanufactured one which is only a rebuilt original ecu but i need the number in order to find it.

    go here

    http://www.dsmlink.com/faq-eprom.html

    you should still pull the case off and check it, but if its one of the first two numbers it should almost definately be eprom. thats how i found out mine was.

    good to hear. have you tried ur local junkyards? theres bound to be a 95 gst, gsx, or tsi somewhere in NYC. i got damn lucky cuz theres barely any around here. found one in a tsi with nothing left in the engine bay. dont remember the exact price but i think i spent less than $100 for that and half the stuff i need for a 5-lug convo.

    Well im sure it dont really matter which ecu i get from my job. I guess i would have to have it socketed or something and put a chip in it. But if my research is right, most of the ecu's are already programmed to a certain spec. Im working with a 2G setup so as long as i get the right year and model ecu i should be withing spec to try a plug and play. It will take me awhile to really dig deep into it. but its out of those 2 choices.

    edited......................

    heres what i got so far that matches
    5293322= GSX = L4-1997cc =2.0L N/A
    5293322= GST = L4-1997cc = 2.0L N/A

    most of these are for the GST's and GSX's
    The ones that are factory turbo come with the MD312464 unfortunate for me we dont have any of those but just maybe a stock one will work.
