they listed at 150k, i made and offer of 142k and i would pay closing costs.

they came back with 145k and they offered to pay all the closing costs. so either way, it would have cost me 145k.

Looks like you also got a ghost lol.
LOL that is the ghost of a marlboro cigarette hahaha

ill keep this thread updated with projects and progress. i guess i better get back to getting rid of the wallpaper! :D
thats such an awesome deal. A place like that on Long Island near where I am is like $350,000 with a 1 car garage and the monthly maintanence fees are like $800. So your carrying a $3000 month payment without utilities.

yeah man thats a great price. me and my girl saw a townhouse in Sayreville NJ 349,000 with 1 car garage. And we have been looking at condos with no garage at all and those are like 225-250,000.

    Very nice man....

Me and my girl are looking to buy in the next couple of years, though houses hare are about $300k for what we are looking at..... and thats at the bottom end of the scale.

The bonus is, most of the houses here have garages, infact due to our building laws, all new houses are required to have a garage (at least a single). Though there are ways around it.

Congrats man...it's always a good feeling to have your own space. My sister bought a 4BR and 2.5BA condo for $399,000 last year [NO GARAGE EITHER!!] and we only got one parking space :(. Well have fun in your new house!
