you can save yourself $165 if you could get a small can of black spray paint, heat gun, and plastic adhesive...

they've been around a while now but for someone who doesn't feel like messing with their assembly, it's a good solution. I've considered it but saving the extra $$$ for JDM seems like an equally good route.

they'll look good on your ride BGR- pics when you get them!

Don't sweat it. I wouldn't do that procedure, either.
I'll gladly pay as much as I have for an unaltered set of headlights with a clear reflector.

I had contemplated getting these (below), but they cost over $300 bucks and the chrome look is not what I like. I think the front piece is glass, not plastic.

Re: Clear reflector headlights now available

I finally received these yesterday. I can honestly say that these headlights are freakin' bad ass. I love 'em. Well worth it, IMO. I know it's just a clear reflector, but when I had the '02-'03 headlights before, they didn't have this much of an impact on me, and I ended up selling them as soon as I got 'em.

BTW, the small inner pic above (backview), shows another Gen. headlight, possibly the 7G.

I was thinking about buying those a loooooooooooooooooooong time ago before I decided to go JDM. They are better than taking the reflector out of your stock heads to get the clear corner effect, better light pattern.

The dumb thing about high and low beam in one bulb is that its not that effective in the dark because it only lights upp long away from you :? With the two housing lamps u got the lowbeam to light up the road just ahead of u then the high beam take care of things way ahead of you ;) But dont get me wrong, it looks good with 1 housing ;)
