Evo X from the Orlando auto show

I forgot my camera before I went to the show..but a buddy of mine took some great pics of the Evo X on display during this weeks Orlando international auto show. On display was a fully loaded Evo X MR (minus the "MR" badge". The pics show in great detail of the improved quality and workmanship of the new Evo.

    Enjoy 8)

Mitsu's SST Dual clutch technology is pretty dayam sweet. Though I would prefer shifting gears myself..but the SST shifts just as fast and rev matches. Its pretty dayam sweet how it shifts nicely making use of the motor powerband.

Here is a vid of a Evo X with the SST.

Love the look of the new X, but very concerned about how much the dealers are gonna try charging for the car. 5 towns Mitsu told me $45K

I'm just waiting for that Ralliart to come out. The Evo looks very very very nice though, again that twin clutch bothers me I rather have a 6-speed or 5-speed performance car than an automatic, but then again the slushbox is beginning to improve a lot over the years

Dual clutch technology isn't old..its been used in F1 cars, Rally cars, etc etc for years. Ferrari's have the technology in their exotic sports cars. Its just been a attainable and affordable technology till recently to put into production cars like audi, Ferrari, etc etc and now Mitsu.

My concerns are the costs to replace a dual clutch tranny and how much power can it handle before it exceeds its limits.

I will most likely end up buying a M/T Evo...but if I was buying the Evo for a DD for minor power upgrades, I would go for a MR with the SST.
