    Fuel Gauge

the dashboard, how much would it cost to get a new one? my fuel gauge is weird too, it takes around 120 miles for the first 1/4, then 100 for the 2nd 1/4, and the last 2 drop down fast like 50 miles each. would this be fixed by buying a new dash board and gauges? Price of this change?

I paid $15 for a new cluster at a junkyard. It shouldnt be a problem to just switch out the gas gauge with one from another cluster, instead of going through the hassle and legally swapping out the entire cluster. Im not sure if this would fix the issue, mine is somewhat similar, but dont think it is as bad as yours.

The 8G has a similar problem also. It's probably with the fuel level sender on the fuel pump assembly, not the gauge itself.

Thats pretty normal on the 7g. In fact it's been normal on every car i've ever owned.

its just the shape of the gas tank.
