    water lines

I read the faq on turboing your 7g and was woundering how everone else runs the water lines. I was thinking of welding a fitting into the bottom of the waterpipe and drill and tap the thermostat housing I would like to use an fittings for a clean install.

The easiest and cleanest way is to tap the throttle body lines. All I did was remove the line coming out of the throttle body and ran that to the turbo, then ran the return line from the turbo to the return for that coolant line. It's really straight forward, just take a look at the throttle body and you should be able to see it.

Did you split the the water feed line, so that there is a line running to the throttlebody and the turbo? as well as the spliting the return line? and if so, what did you use to split the line

I believe it is the return line coming out of the throttle body. Its about a 4-6 inch piece of rubber tubing that goes from the throttle body to the water line that feeds into the thermostat housing. For the turbo lines I used a piece of rubber tubing and the stock 2g hard lines that i modified slightly. Then I just ran it as a loop like this: throttle body to turbo inlet to turbo return to water line into t-stat housing. I'll try to get a pic of it tomorrow and post it up so you can see it better.

Ok, I pretty much got it now.... I've been buying my pieces to go turbo for a longtime now but just got a hold of some gauges so iam nearing my completion.

Just was curious how you ran the water lines as well :)
