Cali, has already done it. They're are several post on here that show you how to do it, successfully. I'm in the process right now of going from my 2.4 cyl. to the 4G63T. So yes. Keep in mind it's alot of time, effort and $$$$$$. Ask Cali, he's selling his.

Car is sold, no more G.... Moved on to something a big more sporty.... lol

Wiring is probably the biggest hurdle, as well as finding a trans that will not grenade when you hit the loud pedal. Head swap appears to be the route that everyone takes, due to the fact that the Evo guys are clamouring for our block and crank.

dam right they want out 4g64 parts :) and we got the upper hand on it becasue we can get a kia head and not an expensive evo one that does the same job but a little bit better, do to the fact it brings you to the turbo range :) 8.5:1 ftw!

So have I. With two seperate standalones might I add.

Duh, what do you mean the Kia head does it better? Just use the right headgasket and your fine. Everyone who does the Kia head swap fills it with EVO internals when its easier to just get a complete used EVO head, everyone wants to spend $1000 for 600whp. If you want to play with the big boys, spend money like the big boys.

Enough venting, I have said my peace.
