can anyone confirm these will fit the 8G? 8G has same part number for rear trailing arms as 7G. 2G, however, does not.

    Matt,
this will fit your 7g. they will fit the 8g(remember MKO is running the 8g suspension)
    Order them.

If for some crazy reason you couldn't get them to fit your car, I guarantee you I will buy them from you and install them on my car effortlessly.
Once I have done that, I would send you pictures with humiliating commentary to rub in the fact that you have inferior skills.

hahah oh i figured they would fit, i wanted to see/hear a confirmation. i can't justify blowing cash on these right now anyways, i just put two new OEM ones in....if i could have gotten these shipped overnight without selling a kidney i would've done it, but alas, too late

Isnt the arm they are selling the one that goes from the knuckle to the underbody of the car. If you were staring at the rear wheel it would be the arm closest to the front of the car? I did some research on DSMtuners and the general feedback was you could correct the toe using these arms.

From where its positioned yes, you could use it to correct toe, but thats not the correct one to adjust in order to correct toe.

Thats the one to correct toe

Its actually more along the lines of dynamic toe.
As in how the toe is effected throughout the suspension travel.

x2; the other control arm pictured above is used to correct for actual toe.

The trailing arm goes front to back if memory serves me right.

I'll re-check the service manual later tonight.

sorry to bump an old dusty thread,

anyone tried these on a 8g successfully?

combined with an adjustable toe arm, im hopeing these will be able to center the wheel in the wheel arch, as on the vr4 when you lower it, the wheel is pushed towards the back of the wheel arch, rather then centered if you understand me.
