Exactly and more than just NY area. Guys on EVOM from all over the country use him, he does dyno days in Cali and across the country.

The tune is done in ecuflash as i have an evo8 ecu running. $450 is not that bad at all when you start to compare to RIPP: $500min, JestTunning: $400(email only), MellonTunning: $350(email only), TTP: who knows?!? they never wanted to respond to my emails. The car really feels great now, nothing like it was before, i honestly though i was gonna kill my self today on RT1 in NJ. Also don't forget that this is my stock, beaten, unmaintainded motor that has 105k on it. Next year when I drop a new one in, we'll retune to get everything possible out of this. Brian is completely right about my car being in his hands. If you screw up one cell in ecuflash you can easily blow your motor. I'm gonna take a few vids hopefully next week or so, i still need an allignment so maybe then on the road.

dyno tuning is just as expensive here.
that is cheap compared to what it costs to get evos tuned here, usually its upwards of $500 maybe even $600

A good tuner will know how to extract the most power out of your setup while still leaving a good safety net so you wont blow your motor. He will interact with you and tune the car the way you want. So as long as you have the supporting mods you can say, listen "I want to break 400whp but I want the AFR tuned at 11:1 so that I have a safety net" or on the flipside you can say "I want to make the absolute most power possible, do whatever you can to extract every ounce of power that this thing has left in it" And when they do it, they do it well, they get the car to idle like stock, they create a nice and smooth powerband so the car doesnt hesistate or bog down at part throttle usage. Anyone can tune a car for wide open throttle runs, because its a constant value, the motor is always at full power, but it takes skills to make a car run well at partial throttle. Thats why alot of high power cars are shitty daily drivers because they were tuned for racing at WOT not driving to the store nice and easy.

Thats awesome, 201 is not alot as a number but I bet it feels alot diffrent when driving, specialy with that 5spd in it now. I cant wait till I get in to my motor and transmission.

201 at 12psi is great and i'm not risking the like of my motor by running lean as hell. Oh and it feels really different then the stock 104whp.
