    Subs on stock GTZ

I have a 2002 Galant GTZ and i wanted to install a pair of subs in the trunk. Is this possible to do with the stock head unit, or would i have to purchase a aftermarket head?

Yea cleansweep works, but basically what you have to do is A) Know what wire is the stock Ignition wire so you can run that wire to your amp, and B)Get an RCA Adapter so you can plug RCAs from your amp into the adapter which will then run to your h/u since your stock headunit won't have connectors for RCAs. If you go to an audio store and tell them u want an adapter to run subs with a stock headunit they should be able to get you the item no problem

Now that will allow me to continue running all of the regular speakers in the stock system, and then run a separate amplifier to the subs? Would i have to re-wire any of the original system to connect the unit to the stock infinity amp, or is it simple enough just connect the existing speaker wires to the unit and then thats it? Thanks for the help.
