    -G-rim back and running

I actually had the car running about a month ago..but after I got it running I had issue after issue with this car. I got the car running again but not totally 100%...there are some little quirks I got to tend to, but the car is drivable. Its been over a year since its ever seen road and had a chance to clean up the engine bay and give it a wash and wax.

The 14b is out since it was blown..both oil and coolant seals must of dried up and it was blowing tons of coolant and oil mixture out the exhaust. I installed the E3 16g from my GVR4 into -G-rim. The good ol' 4G64 is freshened up with all new front seals, water pump, Tbelt and pulleys. Compression is 210 across the board so its internally healthy.

the car is rolling on some new set of wheels. The old 18x7.5 Racing Hart C2's are long gone and replaced with 5Zigen FN01RC's that are 17x8 +35 offset on 225/45/17's. They came off my friends' 240sx and were originally all flat black, but I got some red pinstriping and added the "red lip".

Some of you might of noticed right away about the rear bumper. Well when I worked at a Pontiac dealer a bit ago I got hold of a 06 Pontiac GTO rear bumper already painted black. I got a idea and took it home and did some fabricating. Its basically rear valance portion of the GTO bumper and I cut and shape to fit the stock 7g rear bumper and it fits remarkably well.

Well here are pics...nothing big or special, its just a old face making his debut again. 8)

The tire will rub only during real bad bumps...but other than that it doesn't rub under normal driving and medicore bumps and inclines and declines.

I am surprised that no one likes the C/F fuel door suddenly...I have had that C/F fuel door for awhile now. :?

I do miss the 18" Racing Harts...but I wanted something wider and a certain offset. These wheels are much lighter and I personally think they look real good.

I would like to get the car repainted, it needs it bad and retinted because the cheapo stuff the previous owner installed is starting to bubble up. :(

The car drives real nice...I almost forgot how invigorating it is to drive this car again. Definitely pulls stronger with the E3 16g at lower psi compared to the 14b obviously.
