is there a difference between ply urethane and ABS plastic ??

which one i was thinking about getting item #1 and save some money but if there is a reason i shouldn't get it then please tell me why

there is a difference obviously, but in this case you should be fine with either one...they are both flexable.... abs is a little better.... but for a lip doesnt really matter much

I'd go with PU.

Polyurethane is more flexible then plastic and more durable. I've had a bumper made of that and accidentally smacked one of my trash cans and the bumper indented and came back out, no marks. This a lip so it will get scratched up either way so it doesn't really matter.

abs is easier to shape and mold with a heat gun.

polyurethane will stretch and tear when put under stress. abs will crack and break off when put under stress.

i can't speak for other lips, abs or not, but i have had my abs lip for over a year and i have no broke it *knocks on wood* but yea, i always park my car a lil too far and run the lip into the curb/concrete barrier and all i have a just scratches. some deeper than the other.

I can sell you my old 03 lip I've done few years back. I'll post pics once it's disassembled.
