That's more than overkill, that's just straight ridiculous :? I plan to use my spring 6-puck and 2600-lb equivalent pressure place even when I'm making 600 WHP...

So i had this clutch kit layin around for like a year and got a hair up my ass to try it in the ol G. I guess the ACT 2900 pressure plate and 6-puck unsprung disc was a lil too much seeing as it snapped the master rod in half twice...ooppps

Hell yea it is overkill. I have a 2600 with street disk and I will never go to a 2900.

on a fwd there is no point in having that much clamp force in the clutch.

2600 is really more than enough.
