    ive tried looking through all the galant 24 vientos on trademe and NONE of them have that button or even that panel where the buttons go... :S

    The symbol looks like some kind of variable resistance but the only thing i know of with a pot is the dash lights. Could it be for something jdm thats been removed?

    I have a similar question- why does every single 7g galant Ive ever sat in (and this number is close to ten) have two fake buttons next to the cruise control switch enable switch?
    141,000 miles.

    6 dents.

    Yellowed, cloudy headlights.

    spraypaint on the door panels.

    They are for other options that no one gets lol. But i do think that one of them might be for fogs and the other one for a rear wiper.

    Check all of your fuses. If there is a fuse button burned out, switch it out, and then push the button again!
