If you work in a machine shop, grab a hold of some silicon lubricant. Rumor has it tire shine was discovered by some smart guy spraying it on his tires and realizing the marketing value.

I use 2 different tire shine depending how I feel at the time I decide to shine my tires.

I use this Meguires Hot Shine tire shine spray. Its pretty cool because its nozzle has 3 different settings depending on the tire sidewall profile you have which is good if you have low profile tires. The shine is really wet and it lasts for awhile too.

I have been using this stuff on -G-rim since with the wider offset and more aggressive offset..tire shine "spits" all over the sides of my rocker panel and rear bumper. Black Magic Titanium Matte tire shine is what I use..it gives the "shine" of what a brand new tire has and it doesn't "spit".

Does anyone know if Shining Monkey has closed down or something, I ordered some stuff from their site about 2 months ago and have still not received it. They are not replying to emails or answering the phone. Any suggestions?
