If you post stupid and incorrect information, you will get red nuggets.

yeah i wasnt, but its weird,it seems liek it dont need an alinemnt it drives straight, but if i put the steering wheel to the center it flys ot the right, other htne that the driving if fine, my dad said theres like a bolt that you keep the tires straight, disconnect the bolt move the steering to the right position, and put it back in, kind of like putting a aftermart steering wheel in like that, it dont pull to the right or the left, if i keep the steering wheel crooked like that, stange, i told my dad i should jsut get an aliment anyways, i donno how muc hthey cost tho, i never had one done, never had a problem

Aaron, the reason everyone is saying to get an alignment is this. We understand that the car drives straight but the wheel isnt straight and this is what you need to understand. When the alignment shop does the alignment, the set the car up on the machine and then they align the steering wheel, then they measure how far the wheels are off of straight with the steering wheel centered, then they adjust the tie rods to get the wheels aligned while the steering wheel is still straight. I personally need to do this too because when I removed my steering column and put it back in, the wheels werent perfectly straight so now the center point of the steering wheel sits at like 2 o'clock when the wheels are straight. Like Warm said, a front end alignment is about $40-70.

Exactly, without an alignment rack or a LOT of measuring, you're not going to be able to simultaneously adjust each tie rod end to center your steering.
yeha i know this, just dont know much about aliment stuff, so i guess i stressed out somthing other the tire rods, pretty much, becasue they been the same, i must have found a way to throw it outa wack, by jacking it up alward to get the back up, one side at a time, i thin k idid the left first pushing the right down to hard, it did look kidna stained, so i lowered it and ptu a brick to hold it up lol
