    Car squealing like a pig

My Galant has been squealing really bad since this cold weather set in. I sprayed WD-40 on all the belts and pulleys. It only does it when the car start, after it going for awhile it stops. Is this a problem or just weather related?

that was a horrible idea to spray wd-40 on the belts. THAT is why it is squeeling. what it means is that your belts are slipping. so wd-40 makes it worse. smooth.

the problem is your belts are too loose. Replace your belts with new ones & make sure you tighten them to specs.

If you sprayed WD-40 on your belts and pulleys, the belt is dead now. Clean off the pulleys with brake cleaner before switching to a new belt.

if you are going to spray wd-40 on something, you should at least know the conciquences, like it eats rubber

    Wrong,
WD-40 can be used on just about everything. It is safe for metal, rubber, wood and plastic.
It will ruin a belt since the belt will absorb the lubricant and subsequently glaze over.

It was squeaking before I but WD-40 on it and know that its warming up the squeak doesnt last as long as it did, maybe 10-15 at most. I didnt know WD-40 ruins rubber, it didnt work anyway.

It's not that WD-40 ruins rubber, it's that you introduced a LUBRICANT into a system that relies on good static friction in order to operate (belt to pulley contact)... The belt is probably going to glaze over now if it hasn't already - just replace it. And if you must "lubricate" your belt again, use belt dressing next time.
