    D2, Megans of Teins

Well its income tax time and i was wondering what Coilover kit to buy. I need help. Im really concern with the smoothest ride possible.

I go with DOHCstuner and say D2's i like them the best. Of course im not going with those anymore. I'm actually going with performancedsm's street/strip setup...

i prefer d2 they are definatly smooth once warmed up, and if you have a proffessional tune your suspension, they will ride however you like.

not to mention they really are tip top quality

Id be choosing between the D2s and Megans, the Teins shouldnt be on the same playing field.

nothing, they are just over priced. and over rated.
you literally gain nothing by getting them over d2's or megan.

    ask stewi.
he sold his teins and got megan

I have Megans and there's no smooth ride about them. Perfect for the track but I prefer KYB AGX with Teins s-techs for everyday driving, that's just me though.

either have them professionally tuned or try to adjust the settings yourself the ride can be altered however you like dont just slap them on and expect them to be perfect lol, when done right there should be no comparison to any basic shock/ spring setup

I didn't just slap them on there! Im not the type. I spent like 2 days adjusting them. I got them better then when I first started but to ME they are way too bouncy . My G looked like them slammed civics...lmfao.

Nope! I was just turning things, spray wd40 and rub butter on them, isn't that what you are supposed to do?? yes I know what Im doing and I meant it was really bouncy when I first started, it is still bouncy just not as bad.

My Megans are "bouncy" if you consider that to mean that the car has almost no rebound. So it "bounces" any time you hit a dip in the road rather than absorbing the shock. That's how I like it, though.

there is nothing about airbag suspensions in the authors question, or the title of this thread.

    lets get back on topic.

Man, thanks for all the input. Im leaning toward the D2. How are the D2's as far as points at a show. I mean it doesnt ring like Tein or Eibach. Are they considered top notch all over in the import scene?
