it's the "rat rod" look (although guys that have that style hate the "rat rod" moniker). it's like rock-a-billy style... but it's meant for old cars like pre-WWII modded in the 50's style... it looks absolutely retarded on modern cars w/ fresh paint on the rest of the car. here's how it's supposed to look:

lol im wondering if my hood would look better rusty or with cancer? BTW Rat Rods Are Cool VW's in my personal opinion are crap. so i vote that a rust hood is the dumbest thing ive seen in a quick minute.
