You can make the USDM one to be just like that one, just cut the bottom half off.

that crash car that cali has is almost useless, only the rear part is there which is very thin so its not really that much to handle any impact without bending in half

mine is on, just trimmed for my bumper... too many horror stories of front end collisions causing way too much damage w/o a crash bar. it should not be too hard to just get one made from tubes of steel or a shallower rectangular box beam reusing the mounts.

its there as a safety precaution. Youre an adult and you know the risks so do what you deem appropriate. :)

Welded to the stock bumper mounts. Better then nothing.

i was thinking of taking mine off, but then i thought of the saftey factor. so i kept it on and i just trimmed the sides off so that my front cyber bumper would fit. it worked pretty good
