    Hey every 1 im new i have a 96 galant 4G64 Stock (1st car) and i wanted to see what could i do with it feel me because i want have a fast car and a sexy style at the time and could i but 8G parts for my eingine like a 99 or 01 type

    Welcome..its nice to see another 7g owner on the boards. 8g 4G64's are similar to the 7g's, but different if that makes any sense. The 8g 64's are flipped..meaning the belts and pulleys are on the right side instead of the left side on the 7g's and among other differences like the tranny is on the other side too, etc etc. As far as parts being interchangable..I am sure some internal parts in the valvetrain are, but crank, pistons, rods, etc etc aren't. To be honest..the only direct part that I can think of right now that is interchangalbly easy is the oil filler cap.
