99galant, to merge, mind you im useing CS2, go to file>automate>merge to HDR
tomorow its supposed to be warm, so im gonna look for a hose and hose off my car, then hit up a parking garage and try to get an ok shoot done... im kinda jonesing... ive been having "photographers block" if you will, and one of my lenses broke :(

Any pointers on how to make one with a single photo that was taken with a regular digital. I was trying to make copies with different exposures changed in photoshop then merge them, but photoshop said it wouldnt merge it.

if its not in raw format then its going to be hard to lower and higher the exposure.
raw format is about 15mb per picture so you dont lose any detail and makes it easy for a photoediting to match and mate the pictures.
you can use adobe lightroom to raise and lower the exposure then photmatix to merge them

i cant do any of this bcuz i have regular photoshop :(
i have photoshop CS3 but is says my pictures don't have enough definition to merge to HDR

AdobePhotoshop CS3, but its not real HDR, well i beleive compared to pics i saw from dev
whats the diff from CS3 or regular photoshop
i believe CS2 and CS3 have the HDR merging

yeah with a TRIPOD, if you are using a point and shoot camera, take 3 pictures in different shutter speeds, one normal, one dark, and one bright with the iso lower than 200
this all has to be done in your manual setting
Post some hi-res pic, not the small ass pics you be posting
