Little Bit Of This, Little Bid Of That..

Well, after a year long research here on TGC, Galant Forums, club3G and members, I decided to start on my 5 spd swap. I usually buy 2 or 3 cars a month, I repair and resell so in between all that and I will be doing my swap along with complete JDM front conversion, EGR rear visor, door sills and deleting AC and PS. I'm slowly getting there, one day at a time. This is not something that I'm looking to finish in a week or two, no rush at all.

This is where I will post my progress with the 5spd swap, front bumper and whatever else coming up. So check back from time to time. Everything performed here in this thread was performed by myself with years of experience in the automotive industry. If you try any of these procedures you do at your own risk! TGC or myself will not be held responsible.

Removed center concel and automatic shifter.

AUTOMATIC SHIFTER ASEMBLY IS REMOVED, CABLE THAT RUNS TO IGNITION, YOU KNOW THE ONE
THAT DOESN'T LET YOU PULL YOUR KEYS OUT WHEN IN NEUTRAL. WELL THATS WHAT IM REMOVING.
YOU CAN ALSO REMOVE THIS EVEN IF YOU STAY AUTOMATIC, JUST ONE CABLE, HOOKS UP TO YOUR
KEY IGNITION. THATS THE CABLE YOU SEE IN THIS PHOTO.

THIS IS THE TOOLS I WILL NEED TO DRILL OUT THE MASTER CYLINDER LOCATION IN THE
    FIREWALL.

THIS IS THE RESULT ( MOTOR BAY )

INSIDE THE CAR AND UNDER THE DASH

Thanks guys, don't I know it. Good thing it's not my daily so I can really take my time.

How you like the mirrors? Those 2 plugs I put in there came out of my Junk Infinity, I used it for the folding wires.

I got those step drills from eBay like 2 years ago for 10 bucks shipped for a set of 3, I have drilled a lot of sheet metal with them. They are awesome, I hardly ever use regular drills bits now .

Pulled the entire face off today.

Next week I will trim the ends of my crash bar to fit my new bumper, it will be really cold tomorrow so I'm done until it warms up again.

Looks great bro!! might as well get working on extending that fog light wire..I cut the factory harness off, and put female clips at the end of them, the a male going into the female and the other side an female which i just pluged into the jdm fog harness, since mine didnt come with a harness
