    Another 7g GS turbo conversion.

I Hi guys, I'm new here, please check out my intro in the Newb section. Like I mentioned I have been around DSM's and Mitsu's for many years, more than 10 ha ha. Anyway, instead of letting my $35 94 GS rot away, Im going to repair, restore and turbocharge it. It saddens me this car carted me for 13k brutal miles and mind you I did NOTHING to this car since I purchased it as a beater. It owes me nothing, I owe it alot so here she comes. Here are a few pics I took a while ago. More recent ones coming soon when I can get to it! Very busy man I am!

Engine has been completely overhauled by yours truly. The head and pan need to be bolted and then it is ready to go back in the car. Some other goodies will be installed before of course. I'm going to pull the trans this weekend and rebuild that also. It had a little grind in 2nd so Ill give it some synchros and fresh bearings. I'll try to keep this updated! I have a brandy new 20g I have had laying around for months. I'm thinking a small 16g may be more suitable. I did not do a forged bottom end build so I may play it safe. I'll be driving it daily as my 05 Ram 2500 is killing me in fuel, not a very friendly commuter! So I think a smaller turbo will be in order!

well you have a good platform to start with... 94 gs, dohc, correct? i like the direction your going with it, im looking forward to the process

as far as wheels i know a lot of the serious minded 7g guys swear by 17's being perfect, as for style, there should be some threads in the wheels section as well as the photoshop and member rides section for ideas

Yes 2.4 DOHC. It runs fairly well for a N/A engine as is. Just needs a little persuation!

Thank you for saving a 7g "GS". Not too many are running around the streets.

Looking forward to the finished product!

I almost junked it before realizing how rare it was. It of course isnt worth anything but to me(a TRUE Mitsu fan!)it is worth saving and making a nice street car. Nothing super fantastic but a head turner!

4-g-rim aren't you on GVR4.ORG? I've been there for 4 years or so,that's my usual home.

I like both of those wheels but I am keeping the car green so I must find something that won't look silly.

Yes..I am a member on the GVR4.org boards. My GVR4 is going through some changes. I visit the GVR4 boards and read, but don't really post unless I need to for now.
