Car making some weird noise under the hood

Ok so i noticed today that my engine was making some weird ass noise il try to explain how it sounds like
(When u put a card on the wheel of a bike, u heard the flicking or flipping noise) i hope u understand

well when i press down on the gas ur able to hear it louder and faster

the engine light doesnt come on
and i went to a mechanic and they said it was normal but i never heard this sound before so yeah...
im thinking its the tranny cause when coming home from work i would drag for the fun of it
my car is an auto so i shift from 1 to D u think that fucked up my tranny or thats the reason why im hearing this noise? or what the noise is and how to fix? that would be great

    thanks

if i dont warm up my car b4 i drive, it grinds like hell until it warms up.

it is kinda normal bcuz the V shape of the pistions for me (this is what i was told) arent full oiled after a cold night even during the summer cold nights

or by SHIFTING and auto, which i HATE when my dad does that to my car, he already fucked the tranny on his 69' bonneville, yes you could have ruined your tranny

The only way to fix an auto transmission is to totally rebuild it. Thats why they suck.

The trans pumps in them dont last long and usually fail.

Its not your trans thats ticking, so its not broken yet.

Yeah, make the car nice before you start modding it, except on some very rare examples thats the best direction to take.
