rear disc conversion and front dual piston calipers

I know this has been asked a thousand times, but from what platforms besides the 3g does the disc brakes work on the galant. Also what other models can you get the dual piston front calipers from to fit? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Once I get all the info I need I will create a parts list for all models that will work and post so that this question might not be asked again.

If I got a set of the brake calipers from a 2g Diamante with all the brackets, will they mount directly to an I4 8g hub? Or will it still require the v6 8g or 3g eclipse brackets?

is there anything else you have to change when you install dual piston calipers. I put mine on, and afterward my brakes didnt work. Now I put my single pistons back on and they work again.
