    Brake fluid

    What's the best brake fluid for our cars? Brands? Dot 3? Dot 4? Gonna put stainless steel lines and gotta blead the system.

    Whats the difference btween dot 3 and higher? I was reccomended dot 6.
    God created turbo lag to give the v8's a brief moment of hope.

    DOT3 & DOT4 fluids are interchangeable, only difference is their boiling point. Just don't use silicon based brake fluids or it will cause your seals in the master cylinder and calipers to malfunction. Only use glycol based.

    Use DOT4 whenever possible.

    A 5.1 is compatable with an abs system as well. It has a 500* or higher boiling point. Dont use regular dot 5, it has to be 5.1.

    i still have the factory brake fluid in mine (78k miles)... i should probably change it right?

    Yes. Do a brake fluid flush.
