Whats the difference btween dot 3 and higher? I was reccomended dot 6.
DOT3 & DOT4 fluids are interchangeable, only difference is their boiling point. Just don't use silicon based brake fluids or it will cause your seals in the master cylinder and calipers to malfunction. Only use glycol based.

Use DOT4 whenever possible.
About how much bottles do I buy?
A 5.1 is compatable with an abs system as well. It has a 500* or higher boiling point. Dont use regular dot 5, it has to be 5.1.
