    Where is cylinder 2 located on a 1996 Galant

    i was thinking because my friends was telling me that some engines dont go down the line 1-4.......

    The cylinder closest to the timing belt side is cylinder #1 and the one closest to the distributer is cylinder #4.

    The firing order is cylinders 1& 4 then cylinders 2&3

    it probably has numbers on the spark plug wires, if they are original.

    they go down 1 to 4, but they dont fire in this order. Usually inline 4 cyl fire 1-3-4-2
    God created turbo lag to give the v8's a brief moment of hope.
