I bought a clifford matrix 3.5 alarm/remote start for 150 refurbished online and the sound of tri state charged me 250 to uninstall the old one and install it in for me in my last car, awesome system no problem, has alot of features and add-ons

I'm having Gary install it for me Sunday hopefully but I'm missing the antenna solve I forget to remove it from the old car before I junked it and its gonna cost me $100 for that alone but its the best system u can get, it might be pricey but its well worth it

they should have only charged you to install it. reason being is because they would just reuse the spots where the old one was connected, thus they would be uninstalling it when they were attaching the new wires.

for your '00 G? i don't think so. you don't need an extra key nor a bypass.

out of the 8g's, the '99 is the only one that doesn't call for a bypass.

as for a key for the bypass, we talked about it on aim, but i'll clarify it on here for other people's reference.

the DEI bypass you were looking at is a universal bypass, thus you are needing the key. the bypass i was looking at is made my fortin and they have a mitsu specific one and doesn't need the key.
