    Back to the Galant World

Well as if today i will be going back into the galant world
I found an 8g on the high way the other day that had a for sale sign. It is a 2003 DE Black with Gray interior. It only has 38k miles on it and everything is pretty clean. Some scratches but nothing to major. No major body damage or even minor stuff as far as I can tell.
I like it and i think that after a few simple mods ( HIDS, new fogs, clear corners, blue leg gauge lights and some speakers) i will be back to normal.

i have more detailed pics on my real camera but idk where the wire went for it.

He was asking for 5500 but i got him down to 4900. Not a bad deal personally IMO. Only 38k miles and hes the second owner where the first was a lease.

    What do you guys think?

Looks clean ;) Not much dirrfences between the Eu Spec G and the US spec in the engine bay ;)

    yah i guess..

it is really clean actually.. once i wash and wax it.. it should shine and there are no problems wiht the paint.

Any real methods in trying to keep that oxidation from happening or just keep it from coming so soon?

    Welcome Back!
I say its a good buy for the car. Daily driver it will look nice after your done with it.

My opinion on what you should do for exterior:

    -paint car flat black
-flat black wheels or gun metal
-mugen lip (work with 99-01 USDM bumper)
    -tein springs / agx
    -tint
    -JDM Headlights
    -00-01 front bumper
-00-01 grill (USDM or JDM which ever the one your prefer)
    -2nd gen tails
    - magnaflow oval exhaust for the nice look and sound.
    -hids
    - smaller antenna for the radio (DE models have exterior antennas usually not sure if the 02-03 was integrated in the rear window)
    -egr visor
    -trunk lip
and your done for the exterior! :)

just get rid of the antenna liek i did
i suggest a VRG lip on that front end, HID retrofit, and slam it, like 2 inches off the ground

Wow, I only paid $8,200 for my 2001 with 36k miles on it, no problems, and this was back in 2002.
