94 galant ls fuel pump help

ey guy i just bought a 94 galant i dont know much bout this car my question is; when i turn a key on the fuel pump keep runing and never stop i dont know its suppose to be like that or something wrong with it,what i need to check plz help and i also need the ignitor not sure whats that call, the part is in side the distributor where the wire plug into that any 1 have 1 or know where i can buy its for cheap plz lmk
