    My new (and cheap) exhaust

yesterday i finally finished my exhaust.

looks like its sticking out a little far in that first pic, but its a weird angle. doesnt look bad at all to me in person. *shrug*

    and heres a video...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07Y2_5pNkcg

    so heres what i did.

    1) removed the muffler
    2) took the pipe from the last flange and cut it off right where the muffler started.
    3) took 3 pieces of tubing, cut and welded them on.
    4) welded on the cheap magnaflow tip

    and done.

    total cost... 37 dollars :D

    Surprisingly, that sounds really good.

Plus I like the subtle look.

    Does it drone at all?

thanks. theres a little, little bit of drone around 3500-4000 rpm, but when im cruising, the rpms are lower so its not bad.

Funniest thing ever... on my last car (240sx) I got a ticket for running just the midsection of my exhaust with only the resonator. I took the axleback/muffler portion off due to a broken weld and I thought the exhaust sounded better/louder without it. I ended with up with a ticket like 6 months later lol. So instead of going back to to stock, what do I do, do a custom exhaust with 3" piping like before, but with custom 3" downpipe and highflow cat. I then take the receipt for the work done and use it as proof for getting my exhaust fixed. Fines dismissed, and my new exhaust ended up being louder with a muffler than my lold exhaust with no muffler lol. New exhaust had more power on top end too.

Anyway storytimes over lol, nice exhaust
