Hey guys. I have a 06 ES and dont know which other trims have the same stereo as mine(LS, SE, GTS), all I know is that the DE has a din sized stereo.

Anyways, Ive had an MP3 jack installed today, even though it's only RF modulated, it works pretty good.
Also, theres a switch installed in the glove box that turns on the modulator, then you have to tune the radio to 89.1

Heres a list of parts, all purchased and installed at Circuit City:

    Adiovox FM Modulator - ADV FMM100A - $49.99
    Belkin Y Audio Cable - BLK F8V23506APL - $ 19.99

Total- $151.77 ( The rest was Labor and Tax)

I have a Dell and the blue lighting matches the blue lighting in the rest of the car.

    Hope this helps.

Doesn't it sound like a modulated signal? All the modulators I've tried sound a bit staticy.

Actually that audiovox modulator doesn't sound all that bad. Pretty clean sound even though it's going through an fm station and you end up losing a bit on the upper and lower end with fm.

    sorry for the late response

krazienluv10- will try to get bigger pics

keithert- sound is excellent, I actually had to drop my bass to 3 and my mp3 player has the EQ setting off, then I up my treble a bit

o1naturalhigh- this is wired directly to the deck, not one of those cheap wireless deals. This is wired through the antenna port using a box that amplifies and filters the incoming signal. The incoming signal from the MP3 player is then "Broadcasted" to the radio. Then a minijack plug connects to the headphone jack. Could be applied as well to Ipod, although you cant control the ipod using the radio controls.

If anyone wants an IPOD hookup, there is one available now.
Works on the newer Mitsus. Uses the stock CD seek controls to search through playlists.

This came out after I installed my modulator, plus I dont have an Ipod so it wont work for my application unless I buy an Ipod. Might switch when my MP3 player conks out.
