    Inner tie rod ends

Does anyone know how to replace them? I was told that special tools were needed to do them. Ive never messed with them on any kind of car. I tried looking in the book but not much information was found. If anyone can give me some pointers i would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Johnas

OK... I failed inspection cuz my driver's inner tie rod end is done and they told me to replace both sides (I have 15 days to replace and get it re-inspected for $1). Does this procedure apply to 8G as well?

    Thanks...

Very simple to do inner and outers on the 8G.. The hardest part is getting to the inner clamp on the boot on the drivers side.

the outer tie rods are shaped differently, but it doesnt matter. The tutorial will work for all Mitsus and many other cars and its also cheap. All you have to buy is the plumbing tool $15-20 in different hardware stores.
