Really stupid problem

Well I have an air freshener, the ones where it is a little bottle with liquid in it then a fan type thing for the vent. The bottle somehow leaked onto my radio and now my AM/FM button wont move. It is stuck on AM and I can only use the radio for cd's or am radio which blows. Anyone have any ideas on what would maybe make it move again? I tried just pressing it in really hard to no avail and pliers didnt move it either. Thanks in advance for your ideas

Take the buttons off and clean them with goo-gone or nail polish remover (be careful with the nail polish remover as it may damage the plastic also).

how do I get the button off? Its the stock cd player and it is stuck really really well lol
