I went to get a tire leak fixed and found out I needed new tires. $450. Oh well, I new I needed tires anyway, just not today.

your tires are the only thing keeping your 3000 pound car stuck to the road. they are one of the most important things to keep you and other safe.
if you needed them, but not today, what would of happened if you did say "not today" and tomorrow you have a blowout and crash the car? its big money, but its a safety issue.

I just got new tires a couple weeks ago. My tires were bald when I got the car, and I could slide anywhere I wanted to. :D
He gave me some tiger paw somethings, and I love them. I can go up and down the turn ramps to get from highway to highway at 50+ mph and not slide at all! :D
KUMHO, the cheapest brand they had. I'm not trying to enter any races, just something that looks ok and has a reasonable warranty.
