Its not low on fluid but while I would slow down or stop when I give it gas it would rev up to about 4000 rpm and then like drop the clutch and peel out so do u think I need a new tranny

Yeah, Id change the fluid. If its a dark color or smells burnt, then that could be your issue. Its hard to say though, could be the tranny too. You could do a flush and it might fix it, or it could make it worse.

Theres nobody really in this area that has spare Galants. Rierdens doesnt have new cars, Newberrys probably doesnt, probably your best bet to find a local used auto trans is through O'rielleys or the junkyard outside Carthage. I went there once to pick up a used trans from a Jetta and they had several Eclipses(1g and 3g) and a few other Mitsus.

When i shipped my auto it was like 120. You just cant ship the tq converter with it cause it makes the tranny go over the 150 lb limit with ups.

Got the tranny flushed and new tranny mount and there was a collapsed tranny fluid line but I got all that fixed and it runs better than ever:D
