    17's or 18's with lowered suspension ?

hey now im in the process of buying new rims, i originally had 17 inch chrome ferretti palmeros. Now im lookin at 18's or back to 17's, only prob is I dont want to buy too big and have rubbage when I turn, my car is running on kyb agx shocks and struts and is lowered, any opinions on what size i should go with? I know theres a tutorial on this but all different opinions help out -

225/40/18, you wont rub if the offset is right.

I like 17s myself on a 7g. 18s seem too big, lifts the car off the ground too much.
    7g for life!

depends what you want to go for, i have 18x8's with 40 series tire. For performance lighter weight would put the 17's at an advantage.
