I really don't think a 5 speed would be very worth it in this car for a while, right now I'm just trying to get it back to running condition and then I'll start replacing parts piece by piece to ensure the longevity of the car's wellness. But that is pretty clean, I wanna get the black grill without the Volvo symbol in the middle, but not the one he's got, it's got the vertical bars. I'll post up last night's progress in just a minute..

Well we got it from the specialist shop to do a little cleaning and to get the drivers window up. We found out the problem is that the switch in the console only to go UP on the drivers window was bad. So we dissassembled the door and flipped the plug for the window motor, giving the DOWN position power to move the window UP. Then I vaccumed as much as I could in the parking lot with the service truck generator and our shop-vac, then towed it to the car wash. It cleaned up pretty nice for a spray wash, once I get it home, we'll hand wash and wax, then leather condition ALL the leather in the car, it really needs it. Onto pics.

There was a KORN sticker on the trunk, and theres also still a Fire Department sticker in the top left, they're all coming off and new 5% tint is going on.

It's hooooome. I hand washed it, but the mud was on there for so long, it's down in the clear coat. I did about 3 coats of wax on the rear passengers side fender and the hood, cleaner wax, then the 2 step polish. Got a LOT of work to do. Sprayed the grill black, and re-sprayed the rear bumper black after blasting off what was left of the paint with the hot water pressure washer. Gonna scrape off the old crappy tint tomorrow and replace the front right CV joint and it should be daily driveable till I can get more cash for teh tuneup.

I figure another day of waxing and buffing and it should be pretty good, though I do plan on a full re-spray in the future. Once I get all things mechanical sorted out. Today I pulled and replaced the CV joint and wheel bearing, it turned out to be the wheel bearing that was bad, causing loud vibrations. Now I'm missing on one cylinder, and the brakes are shot, but I'm out of money, so I just have to deal with it for a while.
