I have a 2004 9G ES, there isn't really a MP3 player cable adapter. There is a Ipod hookup but I'm not sure it works with our stock stereo.

I bought a Pioneer 8000BT Dual Din HU with both MP3 and Ipod player connections and Bluetooth built in for your cell. I had a Kenwood DPX501 HU but the display burnt out.

Mitsubishi offers a Ipod interface adapter cable for the OEM headunits. If you have another other than a Ipod you maybe have to use a aftermarket deal. I bought one for my fiances Endeavor..and the 9g and the Endeavor share the same headunits..but there are 3 different headunits that were equipped in the Galant and Endeavors.

Your 9g should have a trip odometer...usually a trip A and a trip B...you will have to press the selection button on the cluster
