New setup.

Well i wen and spent some money today,

Got a new head unit because mine was getting a little out dated, it was the best kenwood offered in 2004 if that is saying anything.

So i picked up this one Pioneer DEH-6000UB

And i also got a new subwoofer box because mine was old and beat up.

Qlogics ported box, it likes to slide around in my trunk thats why i have a bungy cord on it.

The pioneer is amazing i used to have one and didnt like it because i had to turn it up to 35 before i could hear anything, but this one wow if i put it up to 5 the thing is damn loud.

those mtx's are doop i had a per of those keep away from kid or they myt get kikt in like myin did

when i had my system in my last car i had 3 12s in there and i didnt wanna drill holes to mount it so i bought velcro that was about 2" wide and i stuck it on the bottom of the box and put it in the trunk, it was so stuck iin there that when i tried to take it out it actually pulled the trunk carpet up with it, so u might wanna try that

how much did u pay for that HU ?? isnt this the model that has BT option ??

lol you have the same head unit I do!! its tight i love it! I had an flip out dvd but that got old and I think clashed with my car but this is nice and sleek! and yeah pioneer does a great job with the sound and the amplifiers

The head unit came out to $250 and yea it has the bluetooth option. i was looking a the new alpines that are in the same class but the thing that turned me off from them is that they do not have a cd player. I do like this headunit though. Well worth the money, the only thing that i have to get used to is my old kenwood had a big screen because the buttons folded down, but its worth it.

And i love my subs got the two winters ago and couldnt be happier with them, got them on a 1000 watt kenwood amp which pushes them pretty hard, plus i got my 6x9's on a 500 watt alpine amp.

Pretty sure that's what he meant to say.. I think auto is offically the worst speller on TGC..
